Temple and Tacos

Last month we headed up to San Diego for a quick day trip. One of the benefits of working for the airlines are traveling to different places, even if it’s for a short period of time. Our first stop was at the San Diego LDS Temple, which is always beautiful. Some people refer to it as, ‘el castillo’ or the white castle, but for many Mormons, it is a place of worship. I love the peacefulness of the temple that I feel when I’m there because life is usually hectic.

Afterwards we crossed the Mexican border and went into Tijuana. My husband served a two year LDS mission in Tijuana. We are obsessed with tacos so we headed over to Tres Salsas Tacos. This is our favorite taco stand! I was too busy eating to grab some photos but I highly recommend Tres Salsas, if you ever are in that area. Afterwards we headed back to San Diego and stopped by the beach, before we headed back to Phoenix. Overall, it was a great day being in the temple and eating tacos!
